USA - Day 52 - Washington DC Martin Luther King and Washington Monument

We made our way to the Martin Luther King memorial, which was amazing, then continued on across the Kutz Bridge and through the park to the Washington Monument in the center of the National Mall. This is huge; it was the tallest structure in the World until the Eiffel Tower was built. On the way back we stopped to check out the World War II Memorial, covering the Atlantic and Pacific. A sombre yet amazing day.

USA - Day 37 - Montreal and Search for Underground City

Sunday morning walk through old town (before the crowds descended) and breakfast at a French bistro. Now in search of an entry to the Underground City which houses the Metro, food, shops and stretches for blocks under the streets of Montreal old town. Very popular with the locals in Winter. From the Notre Dame Basilica we walked a few blocks then around a corner we came across the Centre De Commerce Mondial. A local was going inside and said 'Yes, you can get to the underground inside, but check out this building first.'. He gave us great advice.
