USA - Day 37 - Montreal Ville-Maria area

We exited the underground in the Ville-Marie area at Beaver Hall then spotted a very interesting dome peering at us between the buildings. Had to check it out, and after a bit of walking, we found it. Marie Reine Du Monde Basilica, built as a replica of the basilica in Rome. An awesome complex, and unbelievably, there was a pink Porsche parked out the front. Checked out a nearby park and more old buildings then back to the hotel.
What is that dome building?
Let's check it out!
View from the park side.

Found a basilica!

Can you see a pink Porsche?

Front door of the basilica.

Kent spotted the pink Porsche out the front of the basilica; the couple drove off before I got there (thanks for the photo Kent).
First state bank; the British government put all their money there during World War II.
Squirrel in the park.
Old and new.
Very old building; built like a fort.
Door on this building.
Another old door.
