USA - Day 64 - New Orleans French Market

We continued to explore the Vieux Carre area and the shops around the French Market. It's the final day of Halloween and most people are dressed for the occasion.
Breakfast at the hotel.
Courtyard area.
Heading down a different street in Vieux Carre.
An Indian.
Church ahead.
Early Halloween celebrators.

Local Voodoo group canvassing for new members.

French Market.
Three beignet at the market; hiding under a mountain of icing sugar (quickly dispersed by the wind, thank you); been there, done that.
In costume, I think.
No queue at Cafe Du Monde today, so we grabbed a table.
That's all you'll get here!
Waiter was surprised we didn't order their famous coffee and beignet.
Jazz player on sidewalk at the cafe.
The park.

Elvis is in that red car.

Heading back to the market.
Lots of masks for Halloween.
One jazz album we got at the market.

Awesome posters at the market; wish we'd bought this one (photos by Kent).

Great photographic prints on aluminum alloy (very light, so bought one); photo by Kent.
Voodoo and masks for sale.
