Lots of green in Mississippi and water everywhere. Same in Louisiana. Loved seeing all the little houses on the bayous; didn't see any gators though. Heading into New Orleans, we traveled on 24 miles of amazing roadway; built over swamp all the way! Into New Orleans and the French Quarter. We are staying on the northern edge across the road from Louis Armstrong Park.
