USA - Day 70 - Albuquerque to Las Cruces

Caught the sunrise; beautiful, then it was time to pack up. We've really enjoyed our stay in Albuquerque; very comfortable accommodation and being able to cook our own meals was a bonus. First off to the UPS and finally got our unwanted stuff packed off to OZ, then heading South to Las Cruces. A varied driving experience; lots of flat desert as well as twisty, mountain roads.
Sunrise in A!buquerque.

Down the road from our digs.
Heading to the UPS.

Stuff packed up and gone!
Heading South out of Albuquerque.

Crossing the Rio Grande.

Mountains and desert.

Need a fuel stop.
Truck stop; had gas not just diesel; thank goodness!
They also had chili chips; those Mexicans really know how to do spicy!
Inside the truck stop diner.

Truth and Consequence; what a great name for a town!

Love these mountains.

Not far to Las Cruces now.

Taking the exit to Las Cruces.
Bail bond!
