USA - Day 48 - New York Downtown Loop and Lights

After a lovely lunch at Bond 45, we did the Downtown loop on the Hop On Hop Off bus. Along the way we saw the Chrysler building (my favourite), the Empire State building towering above on 5th Avenue, the Panhandle building and many others. In the Financial district on Wall St, we saw the famous 'Charging Bull' completely surrounded by people, all trying to touch it for good luck. Also glimpses of the tall, silvery blue World Trade Center building (will check this out and the 9/11 memorial on another day). The lights were on by the time we returned to Times Square and then made our way back to the hotel through a big, eclectic mass of humanity.
