USA - Day 54 - Washington DC to Shenandoah

Two one-nighters coming up i.e. Hillsville in Virginia, then Asheville in North Carolina, before we get to Nashville in Tennessee. Today we travelled from Washington DC to Hillsville, Virginia, with a little diversion on Skyline Drive through Shenandoah Nat Pk. Great twisty roads and Autumn foliage. We took a detour to Shenandoah and had a late lunch at a diner. Turns out this is an old railway town; nothing to do with the Civil War.
Til next time George Washington.
Heading out of Washington DC.
This bridge took us across to Arlington, but will have to check this out next time.
