USA - Day 42 - Quebec City to Lincoln

Time to leave Quebec City and not too far down Trans Canada Highway it was raining non-stop. We had to retrace our steps about two thirds of the way back to Montreal before heading South to the border near Stanstead. It took us one hour to get through Customs, due to a public holiday (Columbus Day) and the midday traffic. Only two lanes for cars plus one for buses and one for trucks. We almost ran out of fuel in the queue. Crossed the USA border into Vermont and the gorgeous autumn foliage continues. Didn't stop raining all the way to Lincoln in New Hampshire.
Until next time Quebec.
Another cruise ship, Zuiderdam, in port.

Following the river out of town.

The fall colors have intensified in the past few days.
