USA - Day 61 - Memphis Beale Street by Day

We headed to Beale Street around lunchtime. It looked like a lovely sunny day but once outside we realised it was very cold; there were lots of people wearing jackets, beanies and gloves. Not us. We were the hardy (or foolhardy) Aussies, and shivered our way along the streets, checking out the sights in the most famous street in Memphis. Had a late lunch at Kings Palace Cafe then returned to the hotel to warm up. A local in one of the shops said that they're having a cold snap (around 40 Fahrenheit). Will have to rug up before heading out tonight.
