Early morning getaway, with breakfast at a family diner in Fancy Gap. From here we were straight onto the Blue Ridge Parkway, and what a wonderful road this is. A real national treasure, and the Fall foliage just made it even better. Most of the traffic was going in the opposite direction, which meant we could go at our own pace i.e. enjoy the twisty roads. Stopped to check out Blowing Rock, and now heading NW to Cherokee Nat Forest.
